Manyara M. Chigunduru (Mrs.) CA(Z), RPAManaging Partner/Director

Manyara, a Chartered Accountant (Zimbabwe) and a Registered Public Auditor, is the Managing Director and co-founder of Marianhill Capital. She is also the Managing Partner of Marianhill Chartered Accountants, a firm duly registered with the Public Auditors and Accountants Board. She has over 15 years’ experience in financial management, accounting, auditing and taxation. She served her articles with HLB Zimbabwe Chartered Accountants and later moved to PWC (Pricewaterhousecoopers). In 2010 Manyara joined Metbank as the finance manager, reporting to the finance director. She left Metbank in 2014 to start Marianhill Capital P/L, a financial advisory services firm and Marianhill Chartered Accountants, an auditing and accounting firm. Manyara has wide experience in industries such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Insurance, Mining, Legal, NGOs, Events and entertainment.

icTawengwa Toronga CISA, CISM Partner / Director – ICT Assurance Services 

Tawengwa is an ICT consultant with more than 14 years’ experience in the Information Technology field. His work experience dates back to his employment as Security Analyst with Siestum Private Limited and his subsequent employment with Dimension Data Zimbabwe in its Pre-Sales Consulting department. He is the co-founder and Managing Director at ProComm Private Limited and Byte Patrol Private Limited. He is a holder of a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) Degree from National University of Science and Technology, Zimbabwe.  He also holds several certifications including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) and numerous other technical certifications. He is a member of Information System and Audit Association (ISACA), an organisation dedicated to the highest standards of information systems audit, control, and security.

Peddy Chigunduru CA(Z) Associate Director – Utilities, Project, Infrastructure and Corporate Finance 

Peddy has experience over 15 years’ experience in banking and insurance spanning risk management, corporate and financial management, audit and accounting, project and infrastructure finance. He joined First Mutual Life Assurance Company (Private) Limited as a Finance Executive from Pearl Properties (2006) Limited where he held the position of General Manager for Finance & Administration. He leads the financial strategy formulation and implementation and his responsibilities include financial reporting, financial control, optimisation of balance sheet structure and financial regulatory compliance. Previously, he was with PriceWaterhouseCoopers Chartered Accountants (PwC) Southern Africa, Johannesburg, South Africa, having been part of the project and infrastructure finance team focusing on the sub Saharan opportunities. At PwC, his mandate included initiating and leading property finance structures aimed at mobilizing tailored funding to finance property refurbishments, developments and expansion activities. He was also involved in Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) deal origination and structuring. Peddy received technical training in PPPs from the South African Department of Treasury through the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA).

Peddy holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from the University of Zimbabwe, a Banking Diploma with the Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe Diploma (IOBZ), Bachelor of Accounting Sciences (B Compt.) UNISA) and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (Z).

Tobias Betani Business Development Director 

Tobias is an experienced banker, capacity builder and business development specialist. He has served as Training and Development Manager for 29 years in various local banks including Barclays Bank of Zimbabwe and its regional counterparts Botswana, Mauritius, Kenya and Zambia. He further served as Senior Learning and Development Manager for another four local banks facilitating management training specialising in strategy planning, monitoring, evaluation, team building, motivation, selling and negotiation. Tobias was involved in extensive HIV and AIDS capacity building around Zimbabwe i.e. training of trainers and managers responsible for the Prevention from Mother to Child (PMTCT) program. Tobias trained as a trainer at Barclays Bank PLC Poole (UK). He was engaged as a learning and development consultant for BancABC Zimbabwe and its Regional offices in Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia and Tanzania for 36 months. He is currently the Chief Business Development Officer for Marianhill Chartered Accountants. He has keen interest in studying corporate governance and leadership.

Shingirirai P. Bvuma Audit Senior / IT Consultant

Shingirirai holds a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences Honours degree (Bcompt) with University of South Africa. He is currently studying towards his Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA). Shingirirai has been working as an audit senior and an IT consultant since the inception of the firm two years ago. Shingirirai is proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word as well as financial modelling.  Shingirirai has a good eye for detail in both Information Technology and has pioneered the Marianhill Chartered Accountants IT department.
